South Carolina’s Unions Hold First Annual Labor Day Rally and March to Fight Back Against Attacks on Workers
The South Carolina AFL-CIO is joining together with local union members and community allies in a united front against attacks on union jobs, health care access and immigrants
WHAT:
On Monday, September 1 at 11 a.m., the South Carolina AFL-CIO will gather for a “Workers Over Billionaires” Labor Day rally and march with labor unions representing local teachers, postal workers, dockworkers, food service workers and more. Union members are standing alongside civil rights activists and other community allies to fight back against the unchecked corporate greed that is threatening our union contracts, workplace rights and essential social services like Medicaid and Social Security.
